Coronavirus

We are cancelling all training (Borders Care Learning Network) and planned events / meetings until further notice. We will review the situation regularly and keep you up to date.

Individuals who have booked onto courses or events and have supplied their details will be contacted individually. However if you have booked spaces on behalf of your staff or clients please pass this message on.

To protect our staff, we will also be working remotely, with only occasional visits to our office in Galashiels. We are not taking any room bookings until further notice.

We are also advising our staff and volunteers not to attend external meetings, but to meet over videochat or conference call where possible.

The office voicemail for both Borders Care Voice and the Learning Network will be updated, and we will be checking it regularly for any messages.

Borders Care Voice recognises that many of the staff and volunteers in our member organisations cannot choose to work differently, delivering vital services to vulnerable people. Therefore, it is even more important that we play our part – in reducing the opportunity for the virus to spread, and the impact on our most vulnerable, as well as the healthcare system. We thank you for your patience at this challenging time, and ask all of our members, volunteers and colleagues to stay safe.

If you have any queries please e-mail admin@borderscarevoice.org.uk (Borders Care Voice) or training@borderscarevoice.org.uk (Learning Network). We will also keep you updated here and on our social media channels.
