Suicide Prevention Awareness Week takes place from 4th-10th September this year.

“Read between the lines” is the message that Choose Life is sending out to people throughout the Borders during the week, to promote the involvement of whole communities in suicide prevention.

The focus of this year’s campaign is to support the general public to look out for signs of suicidal intent in the people around them – friends, colleagues, family members or neighbours and encourage them to talk about how they feel.

A number of local events will take place during the week – find out more by downloading the programme.

They include a five-mile evening walk on 6th September – download the poster.
