Our petition about the changes to the Scottish Borders Council (SBC) Welfare Benefits Service has now been submitted to the SBC Audit and Scrutiny Committee, and is supported by around 180 people.
It is calling on SBC to ensure that the most vulnerable and deprived people in the Borders are not unfairly disadvantaged or face inequality of access to support services because of the redesign of the service.
